As Chief Technical Officer at Envisage, Scott Carey possesses an extensive knowledge of multimedia technology for mobile handsets and networks. He takes charge of all technological strategy, designing solutions and managing the creation of concepts. Scott's goal is to create the highest degree of customer-friendly usability while achieving brand objectives. He believes that Envisage's ability to use the EDC platform on a mobile tablet at kiosks is not only unique, but is the evolution of technological marketing.
Prior to joining Envisage Scott created the first media player for Blackberry handhelds. He also managed the deployment of a nation-wide service based on this technology on Canada's largest wireless network and directed product development for the first media platform to offer push delivery of media content. Additionally Scott designed and managed the development of the mobile component of PMOffice - now a part of IBM's Rational suite of products. During his career he has driven development of numerous solutions for enterprise, entertainment and finance.
Scott continues to develop sophisticated solutions to enhance constantly evolving digital technology to create powerful marketing channels.
